IBEX is on course to generate 20 per cent growth as a result of major investment in people and technology.
The projected increase in turnover to £843,000 follows two consecutive years of powerful growth which has seen the company’s top-line rise by nine per cent in 2010 and 10 per cent in 2011.
Meanwhile, a 35 per cent rise in headcount over the last two years means IBEX now employs 17 staff at its headquarters in Essex Street, Preston.
Lorraine Birch, managing director, commented: “Looking ahead, we will continue our growth strategy and have realistic aspirations to become a £1.2 million turnover company in the next three years.
“We have managed to achieve substantial year-on-year growth for three years in a mature sector, during a downturn, because we have invested heavily in staff development and technology. We are reaping the rewards of recruiting a business development team, and at the same time adding to our service offer.”
IBEX helps businesses comply with stringent industry regulations by providing document storage and records management, scanning and digitisation, secure destruction and back-up media storage and rotation.
IBEX has recently invested in advanced technology, including a sophisticated digital scanning system, on-site fire retardant room, cloud-based server using the latest Microsoft 365 platform and the industry-leading O’Neil barcode management system.
Lorraine Birch added: “We intend to drive our ongoing expansion programme by increasing our market awareness and watching developments very closely. In the past we haven’t shouted loud enough about the range of services we offer, the tangible cost savings delivered consistently to our clients, and the benefits they gain from total peace of mind in a highly regulated environment.”
Although IBEX remains a specialist service provider for the legal and accountancy sectors, the firm has recently acquired clients across the broader business community, including social housing providers, insurance businesses, car dealerships, private hospitals, and telephone answering services. Among new clients are: Ai Claims Solutions (UK) Ltd in Blackpool, NCO Europe in Preston, Haydock Finance in Blackburn, Halton Housing on Merseyside and Six Town Housing in Bury.
